my music...(dominated by Broadway, surprise surprise)

I've seen it done, and now I'm doing it - the first ten songs that appear on my i-pod playlist when I shuffle all my songs:

1. "Webster Theme Song" (man, that was a sweet show!)
2. "Homeward Bound" from Within by William Joseph
3. "On the Willows" Sung by Jason Michael Tebelak from the 2001 Godspell National Touring Cast
4. "La Petite Fille De La Mer" from the Slava's Snowshow Soundtrack
5. "The Beauty Is" from the Original Broadway Cast of The Light in the Piazza
6. "Different Kind of Love Song" by Cher (oh geez...how humiliating)
7. "Carol of the Bells" by the Vienna Boys Choir
8. "Mama" by Third Day
9. "Victory in Jesus" by the Tim Ward Band
10. "Simba Confronts Scar" from the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Disney's The Lion King

that's all.

I'm pretty sure if I'd thought of that when I could still fit I would have done it, too.

that's all.

"Age to Age" ©2006 Eric Lee
The hands of my niece, Grace, and her maternal great grandmother, Frieda Johns

Hands of Grace

So much wonder, in one precious form.
Eyes shining and wide to drink in the new
A world full of future blanketing time not yet trod
Tiny hands holding keys to prospects untold
And with first breath beginning again
the Joy of Creation.

So much pain, in one broken body.
Eyes tired with lived dreams and spent sorrow
A world of past, painting pictures and memories
Gnarled hands reaching for Eternity still unseen
And with last breath beginning again
the Promise of Peace.

So much love, in one faithful Savior.
Eyes full of mercy that search depths of the soul
A world of our sin, our shame – His sorrow
Nailed hands stretched on a Cross of forgiveness
And with final breath beginning for all
the Hope of Salvation.
